cPort Employees Spread Holiday Cheer!

At cPort Credit Union, we’re not just a financial institution – we’re here to make a difference. We believe in the power of community involvement and the significance of giving back. This holiday season, our dedicated employees have once again stepped up to make a difference in our local communities.

Every year, our employees select multiple organizations to donate our holiday giving funds to. The holiday contributions to the organizations come directly from the generosity of our employees throughout the year. This year, we are proud to announce that we have donated to seven incredible organizations:

• The Middle Street branch chose Family Promise, an organization committed to helping homeless and low-income families achieve sustainable independence.
• Our Forest Avenue branch picked Hope Acts, focusing on empowering immigrants and improving their quality of life.
• The Augusta branch opted to support local families in the Augusta area, providing them with gifts to celebrate this festive season.
• Our Scarborough branch donated to Full Plates Full Potential, an organization aiming to end childhood food insecurity in Maine.
• The Riverside branch selected Milestone Recovery, offering comprehensive recovery services to people facing substance use, mental illnesses, and homelessness.
• Our eBranch employees made a donation to the Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland, supporting their mission to improve the quality of life of pets and people in our community.
• Lastly, our lending, finance, and operations departments decided to contribute to The Dempsey Center, an organization that provides care and support to patients with cancer at no cost.

We are extremely proud of our employees’ commitment to giving back. Their generosity truly embodies the spirit of the holiday season. As we continue to grow as an organization, we will remain dedicated to giving back in our local communities.
